We Pretended She’d Only Gotten Lost in the Colors of Fall…

“Just because I liked something at one point in time doesn’t mean I’ll always like it, or that I have to go on liking it at all points in time as an unthinking act of loyalty to who I am as a person, based solely on who I was as a person. To be loyal to myself is to allow myself to grow and change, and challenge who I am and what I think. The only thing I am for sure is unsure, and this means I’m growing, and not stagnant or shrinking.”

As another season changes, so does our staple wardrobe. Maybe we won't wear the same leggings, sweater, or scarf that we wore every day last fall. Maybe we've changed how we want to present ourselves in a different way then we did a year ago.

We are constantly changing, growing, evolving in life. We have the freedom to express ourselves to reflect these changes.

One reason I love fall is for layers. I feel like layers are an exciting way to consistently change the way we present ourselves. The way each addition enhances our outward self expression.

One should always feel comfortable and free to express themselves however they desire.

“Risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.”
